I’m Kate.
I believe that jewelry is a celebration, and that all people are to be celebrated. I am passionate about creating pieces with my fellow queers, so our stories can be passed down with our heirlooms. Whether you are committed to yourself, your friends, your lover, or an entire polycule, your stories are the ones I’m here to tell.
As a jeweler I have spent my career watching exclusivity, othering and cis-het fairy tales be used to sell jewelry. Those things aren’t for me.
If those things aren’t for you either, then my jewelry is. Made in joy, with the intention of spreading joy. I make what I love and hope it finds the people who love it too.
Commissions
All shop designs are available in a variety of metals and stones (prices will vary). Every piece on my site is made to order and is therefore non-refundable.
Full custom designs are available on a limited basis. The majority of the jewelry in my gallery are one-off commissioned pieces.
Consultations for custom projects are done either on video call or via text/email. A message can be sent through the contact page to schedule a consultation.
Estimates for commissions are sent via email. Once approved, an invoice will follow. A 50% deposit is required to secure a spot in my design queue. I will reach out once your spot in the queue opens (approximately 2 weeks from deposit) and I will begin your design. I will send renderings of your design as it comes along, and will make adjustments according to your notes. I do not use generative AI to create my renderings, but they give a good idea of the aesthetic of the piece. Once we come to a good place with the renderings, a 3D prototype of your piece will be received. This will give a better idea of scale and proportion.
Once the prototype is approved, your piece will be cast and finished. The average project timeline is 8 weeks. Rush timelines are possible for additional fees. Design fees are based on the complexity of each piece, and prices vary with current metal and stone pricing at the time of deposit. Custom designs generally range from $3,000 to $7,000.
